1 Corinthians 4:1

kianagrantphotography.com

And He asks me, like the apostle,

To be a manager of the mysteries.

Which explains, I suppose,

this tension,

this desperation.

To reach the end of the chapter

or the novel

Or better yet the two hour tale

told on screen

and there you have it.

It was there all along

playing hide-and-seek

with imagination.

But no.

He asks me to suspend

my need to know,

And to eat instead

from Life and Delight.

Beautiful, tantalizing, mystery life.

Laughing.

Dancing.

Running headlong.

A child oblivious

to all but joy.

No obligation beyond this one

faithful day.

Paying attention and following

Wind.
